大家好，我是马语彤。今年16岁。我在首都北京长大，一直对人际交往和跨文化交流有着极大的热情。作为本次活动的参与者，我谨向国内外的青少年致以诚挚的祝福。此外，在无数人的期待中，2022年北京冬奥会即将到来。我为北京和中国感到骄傲，也预祝2022年北京冬奥会取得圆满成功！
众所周知，正是北京举办了2008年北京夏奥会，而2022年冬奥会也将在北京举行。所以，为什么是北京？
首先，北京作为中国的首都，社会和谐、经济繁荣、基础设施条件良好。
其次，北京有能力、有经验、有人才举办国际赛事。
此外，气候条件也很重要。北京属于温带季风气候，夏季高温多雨，冬季寒冷干燥。所以北京冬季气温较低，很适合举办比赛。再加上北京西北地区自然积雪深度和积雪持续时间长，满足举办冬奥会“雪”的必要条件。另外，北京西北地区少大风、少雾，不影响比赛。
最后，地形也不容忽视。北京西北部多山，海拔较高，也适合雪上项目的开展。
这就是北京能够举办2022年冬奥会的原因。让我们一起期待吧！

As a participant in this event, I would like to extend my sincere wishes to other teenagers, both at home and abroad. Moreover, the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games are about to arrive in the expectation of countless people. While I am proud of Beijing and China, I also wish the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games a complete success.
As is known to all, it was Beijing that hosted the 2008 Summer Olympic Games with great success. But why can the 2022 Winter Olympic Games be held in Beijing as well?
First of all, as the capital of China, Beijing has a harmonious society, a prosperous economy and good infrastructure conditions.
Secondly, Beijing has the ability, experience and talents to host the international competitions.
Moreover, climatic conditions are also important. Beijing has a temperate monsoon climate, which is characterized by hot and rainy summer and cold and dry winter. So, the temperature in winter is low in Beijing, which is very suitable for the events. Besides, the natural snow depth and long duration time of snow cover meet the necessary conditions of “snow”. In addition, the northwest area of Beijing less wind, less fog, do not affect the race.
Finally, the terrain is not to be ignored. The mountainous northwest part of Beijing has a high altitude, which is suitable for snow events.
